Kanga is the traditional dress of African women. They find the opportunity of placing their children into the pocket, such as kangaroos, which is made by them while wrapping the kanga on their bodies.
Kanga is woven of cotton yarn in bright and vivid colors. Kanga, which is primarily used by Zanzibari women, nowadays has gained an important popularity. African Kanga is very suitable for using as bath towel, beach blanket, beach pareo or home textiles. It can also be used in the form of skirt, halter or strapless dress such as sarong.
In western cultures, kanga used by people as a souvenir, just  to express their feelings to each other, such as greeting-card. Kanga , which is given as a gift to the  loved ones, has got the meaning of appreciating the beauty.
